San Rafael Great American Blues & BBQ Event postponed until next year:
The B.I.D. has learned that the The Blues event originally scheduled for Saturday September 11th, will unfortunately not take place this year. Team Pro Event, who conceived of and produced the festival for the past four years is unable to garnish enough financial support to make continuing this year possible. The B.I.D. has enjoyed working with Team Pro Event President, Steve Bajor in the past and "we will miss the Blues, Brews and Barbeque Festival this year. The event made for a relaxing day in Downtown that was popular with our residential and business communities. During a time of financial challenge, events such as this improve our morale and stimulate commerce in Downtown. The BID appreciates working with Pro Events and will continue to work with them in the future to bring effective events to Downtown San Rafael"-Stan Gibbs-President
