The 3rd Annual Great American Blues & Barbeque Festival
This Festival returns on Saturday, September 13th, 2008 in the heart of Downtown San Rafael.
The 3nd annual Great American Blues and BBQ Festival will be a Rockn' & Smokin' Back to the Roots All American musical and gastronomical get down featuring the cream of the Bay Areas Blues Artists and the best Barbequers by the Bay. Come celebrate Marin's outstanding heritage of great American roots music and its passion for gourmet soul food. The line up of Blues music will complement the Red sauces of over 10 master barbequers! Pork Ribs, Beef Brisket, Tri Tip and Chicken, it will all be “finger lickin’ good”. Headlined by Austin de Lone's 14th Rib Review and featuring blues legend Nick Gravenites, Steve Freund and John Nevin, Saturday September 13th will be a day of "Ribs and Rhythm" on 4th street between Cijos St. and A in Downtown San Rafael. The event will promote awareness and support for Prader-Willi Syndrome research. The fun starts at 11 and goes to 6. One day only!! Admission is Free.
