San Rafael's newly renovated West End Village invites you to enjoy its highly acclaimed "SUMMER FUN DAY". This year's street faire promises to excite and entertain the entire community with a Public Skateboard Park & Professional Demonstration, Free Kids Games & Activities, Great Food, Local Artist & Business Tents, and 16+ Live Acts on Two Stages.
The West End Village Celebration is an award-winning festival that emphasizes family & community through innovative events. On July 19, 2009 your friends & neighbors will be delighted to discover four city blocks at the beginning of the famed Miracle Mile packed with an exposition of the finest cultural aspects our diverse area offers. The entertainment will be interactive & ongoing and will satisfy a wide variety of palettes.
As the geographic and cultural hub of Marin, San Rafael draws from all corners of the county and Bay Area. Over 5,000 people are expected to participate in this year's premiere summer celebration. Local businesses, artists entertainers, and charitable organizations will benefit, as our community is enriched by what they share.
